I just added my new perpetual calendar to my Etsy store. The calendars are 11 inches high by 4 1/4 inches wide, a cover and 12 pages bound by owires. The perpetual calendars are good every year and can be used over and over again.
Each page (each month) has a picture of a hand-painted (watercolor) orchid.
I will be selling these on my Etsy store to help feed rescued animals. A portion of the profits will be donated to one of the several animal rescues that I work with. These are great for keeping track of birthdays and anniversaries and they make excellent gifts.
Horse Head Plaque on Canvas
Thank you to Deb and Randy Buckler for the beautiful resin horse head plaque I used on this canvas. Casting was done by Resins by Randy and the plaque was sculpted by Myla Pearce for the The International Blessed Broodmare Project (TIBBP, a group I am proud to be part of that works to save PMU mares from slaughter). I put the horse head plaque on an 8 x 10 canvas and added lots of flowers, acrylic paint and sprays to create this rainbow of colors. Continue reading

Copics and Blendabilities
Copics and Blendabilities are alcohol based markers that are unique in their ability to blend. Artists can create beautifully colored art using these markers on rubber stamped images. I love how they work so I got certified to teach Copics. Blendabilities are a similar product made by Stampin’ Up. I will be teaching classes at Tea-n-Sanity starting in September. Continue reading
Gelli Pad Art
Want to learn how to use a Gelli Pad to create beautiful and unique Gelli Pad Art backgrounds for artwork, cards, atcs, scrapbooks, journals, altered books, boxes, collage work, transfers, etc.
I will be doing a basic class on how to create Gelli Pad Art at Tea-n-Sanity (12011 SW 131 Avenue) on Saturday August 16th from 4:30PM to 6:30PM (or longer if you want to play). Check the event calendar for this class and many more. We have several card making classes, Introduction to Zentangle, technique classes, scrapbooking classes, watercolor, and much more.
I just added some more of my hand painted cards to my etsy store. I sell them in sets of five and I donate a portion of proceeds to organizations that rescue horses. Each card is a reproduction of an original drawing that I did and then I hand paint each orchid. I put them on decorative paper and then on colored cardstock. Great to mail to friends or family or great as a gift.
